Sailing With Us

Sailability Tauranga is an inclusive community built on the core value that sailing should be accessible to all.

We cultivate ability in our sailing programmes for people living with physical, cognitive and sensory challenges.

The joy of sailing is infectious and can bring profound benefits to our sailors, and we love being able to help in this way.

Their Sailability Smiles Say It All!

Sailing with us is a fun adventure that builds confidence, ability and a sense of achievement. Our sailors and their carers also enjoy the inclusion and connection within our Sailability community.

The benefits of sailing continue long after returning to shore. Knowing they can sail regularly gives them something special to look forward to - and builds wonderful memories to last a lifetime. Learn more here:

Please Help Us Create More Sailability Smiles

We aim to deliver over a 1,000+ sails this year, too, only made possible with the ongoing support from our local community. "Sailing gives me an amazing sense of freedom and adventure.

It's completely relaxing. You get to feel the wind in your hair and you can't help but SMILE!"

A  keel, hull, deck and sails - that’s what a ship needs.

But what a ship really is - is freedom.
